James was born and raised in Spartanburg and has been tattooing for the past 17 years. The first 3 years of his career he worked at 5 Points Custom Tattoo in Columbia, SC where he worked for 12 hours a day and 6 days a week, which got him up-to-speed and helped him progress at a very fast pace. Before being a tattoo artist, James was a graphic designer for 12 years, contributing to his O.C.D.ness and making him very thorough. He is a well rounded artist and specializes in black and gray, cover-ups, lettering, and very tedious, intricate line-work among other things!

He is very approachable and is more than happy to answer any questions that his clients may have and will walk you through the entire process to ensuring that you have the best and most comfortable experience as possible. James never rushes a tattoo and will give you his full and undivided attention. He also stands behind his work and will touch-up your tattoo, if needed, free of charge. He believes that your tattoo should look as good as possible at all times and that his clients come first!
