James was born and raised in Spartanburg and has been tattooing for the past 6 years. The first 3 years of his career he worked at 5 Points Custom Tattoo in Columbia, SC where he worked for 12 hours a day and 6 days a week, which got him up-to-speed and helped him progress at a very fast pace. Before being a tattoo artist, James was a graphic designer for 12 years, contributing to his O.C.D.ness and making him very thorough. He is a well rounded artist and specializes in cover-ups, lettering, and very tedious, intricate line-work!
He is very approachable and is more than happy to answer any questions that his clients may have and will walk you through the entire process; including setting up, opening all packaging and needles in front of you and ensuring that you have the best and most comfortable experience as possible. James never rushes a tattoo and will give you his full and undivided attention. He also stands behind his work and will touch-up your tattoo, if needed, free of charge. He believes that your tattoo should look as good as possible at all times and that his clients come first!
Terry has been tattooing since 1992, starting in the Charlotte, NC metro area. He later worked at Living Arts Tattoo Parlor in Gastonia, NC, and then Madhouse Tattoo in Columbus, NC for 8 years, where he expanded his skill set to include various styles and techniques that would help him shape his own stylized method in tattooing. He specializes in many areas that include portaits, realism, biomechanical, black and grey horror, comic/sci-fi color, cover-ups and more.
He is always looking to further advance his creativity, by surrounding himself and working with many talented artists through his 22 year career. Never one to follow the herd, Terry stays away from the current fads and rockstar mentality that infects many parts of the modern tattoo industry.
He believes that custom pieces are the very best way to express his clients' individuality and offers many open minded choices to those who seek him out.
